Obituary for Cody Wayne Dement
Funeral service celebrating the life of Cody Wayne Dement will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 25, 2020 at Whites Ferry Road Church, 3201 N. 7th Street, West Monroe LA with Alan Robertson and Mike Kellet Officiating, family will receive friends for visitation, 12pm until time of service at the church.
Mr. Dement was born on April 9, 1987 and passed from this life on January 23, 2021 at the age of 33.
He is preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Dement, and Ronald Dowd; and cousin, Stephen Myers.
Those left to cherish his memories include his father, David Dement and wife Deidre of West Monroe; mother, Edie Dement of West Monroe; brother, Caleb Dement and wife Taylor of West Monroe; maternal grandmother, Verdie McCormick; paternal grandmother, Colleen Dement of West Monroe, niece, Addysin Dement of West Monroe; nephew, Waylon Dement of West Monroe; also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jason Sturgis, Houston Williams, Kevin Heath, Jason Murphy, Alex Boothe, and Jodie Tomlinson.
