Obituary for Clyde Arman Rawls

Private family gathering for Mr. Clyde Arman Rawls of Monroe, LA will be held at a later date.
Clyde Arman Rawls Jr, 80 passed away peacefully at St Francis Hospital on Friday, December 25th, due to complications of pneumonia.

Arnold, as he was known, was born June 14th, 1940, in West Monroe Louisiana. For 13 years, he worked in the offshore oil industry. For the remaining years of his life, he worked and enjoyed his years as a truck driver. Arnold loved fishing and woodworking, operating heavy equipment, gardening,
and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Lola Devona Harris Rawls and father, Clyde A. Rawls, Sr., brother, Jerry Wayne Rawls; sister, Lanelda Griffin, and grandson, Daniel Rawls.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lena Battaglia Rawls; son, Arman Dion Rawls of St Augustine, Florida; daughter, Lisa Rawls Beaman and husband Jeff, of Gonzales, Louisiana; along with two brothers, Obert and Johnny Rawls; also are his five grandchildren, Jessica Wilkes, Hailey, Sidney and Karli Morel, Josephe Rawls, and three great grandchildren, Georgia Grace, Elizabeth and Jameson Samuel Wilkes.
