Christopher James Sandlie was born December 5, 1997 and passed away on March 27, 2023 at the age of 25. “Chris” was a loving son, cousin, uncle and friend. Chris loved to be silly and joke. His mother said you’d often have to take several family pictures before you could get him to be serious in one. He was a very honest person who would tell you what was on his mind even if it offended you; he wanted to be loved by everyone and loved hard in return. He had big dreams for life. He loved his nieces and nephew dearly and would do anything for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Chris was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ivy Earl Thigpen and Cleo Lee Langston Thigpen, paternal grandmother Donna Goetz.

He is survived by his father Michael James Sandlie (Stephanie) and mother Alice Faye Malinda Thigpen Kinn (Anthony); siblings, David Michael Sandlie (Victoria), Jordyanne Elizabeth Sandlie, Caleb Almond (Bailey Coates) , Morgan Almond (Austin Kelley), Troyce Sandlie, Mason Sandlie and Laythen Sandlie; Aunts Addie Sandoz (Marshall) and Christina Balch (Jesse); uncles, John Thigpen, Nathan Thigpen (Patricia), Wade Thigpen (Rebecca); nieces Dani Lynn Lee, Blair Kelley, Mia Grace Kelley, and Brooklyn Kelly; Nephew, James Sandlie; cousins, Joseph Buckley (Emily), Jonathan Buckley (Ren), Timothy Buckley (Morgan), Anthony Buckley, Shaylee Brothwell, Amanda Robertson, Wade Thigpen, Jr., Isabella Balch, Elijah, Balch and Noah Balch.
