Obituary for Christopher James Allen Rodriguez
A celebration of life for Mr. Christopher James Allen Rodriguez of Jena, LA will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, May 29, 2021 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 600 Highway 139 Swartz, LA.
Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
Christopher was born February 25, 1975 and passed from this life May 19, 2021 at the age of 46.
His hobbies are watching sports (LSU and Saints), hunting, fishing and spending time with family, he always worked in the oil field (roughneck to directional driller to supervisor) always climbing the ladder.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Diane Rodriguez.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Svea of Swartz, LA, Remi of Downsville, LA and Mia of Downsville, LA; father, Richard Rodriguez of Swartz, LA; sister, Teresa Semmes of Swartz, LA; and brother in law, Brandon Semmes of Swartz, LA; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Our family would like to thank the nursing home staff and ICU nurses and doctors who helped Chris in his journey.
