Obituary for Christopher "Chris" Blaine Robert
Memorial service for Christopher “Chris” Blaine Robert will be held at 7:00pm, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 6pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Christopher, a printshop warehouse coordinator and resident of West Monroe, LA, passed away on July 12, 2020 at the age of 36 due to complications from the COVID-19 virus. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend who was known for his quick wit and gentle, kind-hearted nature. He was great with kids and his nephew, Ethan, will miss talking and playing Uno with him (“Miss you Uncle Biggie!”). Chris was a regarded by many as a “teddy bear” and could always be counted on to do right by others.
Chris was born in Monroe on April 28, 1984. He is preceded in death by his grandfathers Jim Pippins and Charles Robert. Chris will be remembered by his parents, Terri Pippins and Billy Jones, Harvey and Kay Robert, his siblings, Johnathon and Shannon Robert, Dillon Jones and Krystal Milliren-Jones, Sandra Kay and Mark Naron, Angel and Patrick Jensen, and Paige Robert. He will also be remembered by his grandparents, Mary Alene Pippins, Barbara Robert, his aunts and uncles, Cathy Pippins, Patricia Warbington, Clayton Robert, Lisa Robert, Brad Robert, his nieces and nephews, Peyton and Matthew Naron, Ethan Robert, Makenna and Marissa Jensen, his cousins, Melissa and Wesley Pippins, and a host of other cousins and close friends. He was loved and will be greatly missed by all those that remember him.
