Funeral services for Mrs. Charlotte Gray Russ, 54, of Rayville, LA will be held Sunday at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA 71291 with Pastor Jeffrey Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at Chatham Cemetery in Chatham. Family will receive friends for visitation from 12:00PM until the time of service at the Funeral Home.
Mrs. Russ, a financial data entry clerk, was born on May 3, 1966, and passed from this life on October 29, 2020.
Charlotte is preceded in death by her mother, Rebecca Hearne Redmond; maternal grandparents, CG and Charlotte McElroy; paternal grandparents, James and Jewel Townsend.
Survivors left to cherish her memories include her loving husband of 37 years, Tommy Russ of Start, LA; her step-son, James Robert Crowell and wife Brittany of Calhoun, LA; father, Sherman Townsend, and stepmother, Lou Townsend, and numerous aunts and uncles, and extended family and friends.
Also left to cherish her memories include two grandchildren, MaKayla Rae Crowell and Jaedyn Reece Crowell; best friend of 48 years, Beth Bonner King.
Pallbearers to honor the memory of Mrs. Charlotte will be; Johnny Mac Townsend, Bennie Townsend, Greg Temple, Kenny Wayne Temple, Jamie Townsend, and Frank Miller.
