Graveside service for Charles Elmer Humphries of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Calhoun, with Bro. Larry Chapman and Rev. Jimmy Masters officiating.
Services are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Charles was an LSU and Saints fan; He was also a member of Souls Harbor United Pentecostal Church.
Charles was born March 12, 1937 and passed from this life January 7, 2021 at the age of 83.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Bertha Humphries; sister, Shirley Lovett; infant brother, Chester Nelson Humphries, and grandson, Cody Humphries.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Sarah Humphries; daughters, Wanda Humphries and husband Louis Malta, Stacey Whorton; sons, Charles Humphries and wife June, Clay Humphries and wife Lisa, Kelvin Wade Humphries and wife Kathy, Ricky Humphries and wife Denise, Nathan Humphries and wife Millie; brother, Burl Alan Humphries and wife Margaret; sister, Mary Evelyn Knapp; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
