A private family service celebrating the life of Charlene Mary McCallum was held Friday May 8,2020, at Griffin Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.
Charlene, age 71, of Monroe, LA, was born on August 3, 1948, and passed from this life on
May 7, 2020.
Charlene is preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Bruno; brother, Lee Bruno, and niece, Wendy Ellis Chesney.
Survivors left to cherish the memories of her include; her daughter, Jennifer Shamblin and husband John; grandchild, Gavin Simmons, her beloved sisters JoAnn Free and husband Boyce, Toni Ellis, Laraine Sylvestri and husband Rocco, Bernice Arrington and husband Ronald, her aunt Marie Anding and husband Melvin, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Pilots for Patients, 3127 Mercedes Drive, Monroe, LA 71201.
