Obituary for Cary Lain Henry
A celebration of life for Mr. Cary Lain Henry of West Monroe will be 9:00AM Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
Cary was born December 23, 1962 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on April 16, 2021 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 58. He was a member of Highland Baptist Church in West Monroe and was a bricklayer by trade. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt. He especially enjoyed gardening, planting trees, landscaping, and simply took pride in his work and watching things grow. Cary loved spending time with family and friends, he loved to joke around and have fun and he always loved animals, especially dogs. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, AC Henry; his brother, Don Henry; and his fur-baby and best pal, “Buckshot”.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elaine Henry of West Monroe; his nephew, Jason Henry and wife, Lindsey of Swartz; his aunt, Loraine Ray of West Monroe; special friend, Susie Renee Odom of West Monroe; also survived by a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
