A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Carolyn Virginia Duckworth will be held from 5:00PM-7:00PM, Thursday, February 9, 2023, in the Chapel of Griffin Funeral Home located at 911 Warren Drive in West Monroe, LA.
Mrs. Carolyn was born on June 3, 1943, in Fairhope, AL, and passed from this life on February 3, 2023, at her home in West Monroe. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing work in the yard and planting flowers. She was always very crafty and enjoyed doing all different kinds of crafts. She liked to travel; and spend time with her husband of 59 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Edna Kennedy, sister, Betty Strong.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Tommy; daughter, Lia Fontana and husband Louis; son, Thomas Duckworth and wife Robin; brother, Glen Kennedy.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Whitney Fontana, Mallory Fontana and husband Kyle, Samantha Duckworth, Courtney Allison, and Caleb Allison; two great grandchildren, Brodee Fontana and Finn Fontana; and a host of extended family and friends.
