Calvin Emanuel Braswell, III
Funeral services for Calvin Emanuel Braswell, III of West Monroe, LA will be 1:00pm Saturday, April 27, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Calvin was born July 27, 2001 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on April 22, 2019 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 17. He loved music and played piano, saxophone and guitar. He enjoyed playing basketball, video games, riding bikes and hanging out with his friends whom he always looked out for. He loved his family, had many friends and he will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Calvin Braswell, Sr.; and his grandmother, Patricia Braswell.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Joanie Miller of West Monroe; his father, Calvin Braswell, Jr. of West Monroe; his step-father, Jerry Miller of West Monroe; his siblings, Brittney Corbin, Skylar Miller and Paisley Miller, all of West Monroe; his grandparents, Vedia Corbin, Carey Corbin and Elizabeth Braswell, all of West Monroe; three nephews, Cayden Munholland, River Corbin and Ryder Corbin; his mentors, Dawn Smith and Joseph Adkins; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Brent Lively, Michael Humble, Rusty Aday, Daniel Oser, Kaleb Williams and Jordan Copeland.
