Funeral services for Shirley Mae Ezell will be held at 10:00am on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Lapine Assembly of God Church in West Monroe, LA with bro. Glenn Lenard officiating. Interment will follow at Lapine Assembly of God Cemetery in West Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the church 550 Lapine Rd. West Monroe, LA 71292.

Shirley was born April 25, 1942 in Alberdeen, SD and passed from this life surrounded by her family on February 10, 2018 at her home in West Mornoe, LA at the age of 75.
Shirley enjoyed hunting fishing and shopping with her daughters and grand-daughter, taking her son in law and grandsons out to eat, she loved the moose lodge playing bingo with lady friends and dancing with her grandson.
Shirley always made those around her happy.

She was a grandmother with a big heart that always spoiled her great grandchildren, She especially loved her husband Butch Ezell of 21 years and made sure he was always taken great care of. They always did everything together.
Shirley loved her animals and God’s beautiful creation.
She was a great woman, mom, grandma, great-grandma, and the best wife a man could want.

She is preceded in death by Her father Edward Denison and mother Amelia Denison; her brothers and sisters, Donald, Ronald, Bonnie, Janet, Karen, Sherry, and Robin.

Those left to cherish Sherley’s memory include her husband Butch Ezell;
Her children Ella Butler, Wesley Butler, Angela Powell, and Dannie Powell;
Her brothers and sisters Ed Denison, Carol Swenson, Judy Westwood, Jody Merch, Joyce Anderson.

Four grandchildren, Sheena Vogt and husband James Vogt, Shantel Atkins and husband Danie Golsby, Joseph Atkins wife Madison Atkins
Wes Butler and wife Amber Butler
Eight great-grandchildren, Trinity Rose, Sarah Ashley, Hunter, Amelia Kate, Ryan Wade, Zachary, Emma, and Kaiden

Pallbearers will be Joseph Atkins, James Vogt, Steve Howard, Wesley Butler, Justin Thigpin, Tommy Dehaven
