Obituary for Bonnie Sue Armond
Memorial service celebrating the life of Bonnie Sue Armond of Downsville, LA., will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, December 3, 2022, in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA., with Bro. Ricky Nolan officiating. Family will receive friends for visitation 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, her favorite was painting in her younger years; she was an art teacher at Chalmette Middle School in Chalmette, LA. She enjoyed shopping and visiting the old French quarters of New Orleans, she collected figurines, and frogs were her favorite.
Bonnie was born July 19, 1939, and passed from this life November 28, 2022, at the age of 83.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Armond and parents, Christy and Alice Bayles.
Survivors include her children, son, Christy Lamar Joseph; daughter, Honnie Armond; grandchildren, Britainnie Joseph, Kain and Athena Mauroner, and sister, Beverly Hearn (Johnny) Also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends.
