Funeral services for Mrs. Bonnie Malone Acree of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Thursday, August 15, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe with Rev. Danny McIlveene officiating. Interment will follow at Wilhite Cemetery in Point, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Bonnie was born August 10, 1926 in Start, LA and passed from this life on August 11, 2019 in Monroe, LA at the age of 93. She devoted 20 plus years as a cook for Fair Park Baptist Church Daycare. As well as a loving devoted mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Acree; daughter, Barbara Greene; two sons, Benny Wayne “Mule” Guerrero and Charles “Shot” Acree; two sisters Regena Malone and Annie Nell Blazier; three brothers, RM “Dick” Malone, Alfred “Bud” Malone and Francis “Tot” Malone.
Survivors include her daughter, Beth Veracruz; stepchildren, Judy Acree, Carolyn Fish (Gary), David Acree (Caiping)and Ikie Acree (Trisha); one brother, David “Sweetie” Malone and one sister, Patricia “Patsy” Stringer; grandchildren, Regena Bronson, Anissa Coppin (Gary), Reyna Scalf (Doug), Tony Veracruz, Kerri Morrison (Tommy), Shayna Taylor, Benny Wayne Guerrero Jr. (Tammy), Angela Willhoft (Ryan), Christy Acree (Mark), Chris Acree and Kayla Acree (Michael); eighteen great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
