Obituary for Bobby James Tinsley
Funeral service celebrating the life of Bobby James Tinsley of West Monroe, LA will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, October 13, 2020 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive, West Monroe, LA.
Interment will follow at Clark Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, Monday, October 12, 2020 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Bobby served in the 528th Company B “Bulldogs” OMS 3 under CW4 Charles Dean and John Shaw, he also served 42 years in the National Guard.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Annie Tinsley; wife, Gayle Tinsley, and son-law, Chip Dorris.
Those left to cherish his memories include three daughters, Wanda Anderson and husband George, Susan Landers, and Tammy Hardwick and husband Mike; son, Bobby Tinsley and wife Amy; also survived by his grandchildren, April Bradford and husband Mike, Logan Landers, Robert Earl Anderson, Alison Anderson; great-grandchildren, Wesley Landers, Gage Landers, Lucas Landers, Autumn Landers, Cole Landers, and a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers include: Joe Wilhite, Robert Earl Anderson, and Logan Landers.
Honorary pallbearers are: Pat Parks, John Lewis, and Arnold Ray Hendricks.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to: Wounded Warriors and Gold Star Families.
