Obituary for Bobbie Lou Carter
A celebration of life for Mrs. Bobbie Lou Carter of West Monroe, LA will be held at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe La, at 2:00pm, Tuesday January 19, 2021, with Bro. Charlie Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until time of service.
Bobbie was born on February 13, 1932 to the union of Bob and Sadie Bible and passed from this life on January 15, 2021 at the age of 88.
Bobbie retired from E.A. Conway Medical Center after 23 years of service. Her favorite past time was gardening, baking, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her parents, Bob, and Sadie Bible; husband, Dwayne Carter; sister, Alice Swann.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four loving sons, Rick Holloway and wife Hang, Ronnie Holloway and wife Peggy, Robert Holloway, and fiancée Maite and Rodney Holloway, and wife Lori; four grandchildren, Jason Holloway, and wife Estafana, Jennifer Maggio and husband Matt, William Holloway, and Garrett Holloway; five great grandchildren, Madison Holloway, Mark Holloway, Jacob Maggio, Angelina Maggio and Piper Holloway; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
