Funeral service for Mrs. Betty Pruett, 79, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Evangel Assembly of God, in Monroe, with Rev. Calvin Stapp officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 12:00 PM until time of service at the church.

Mrs. Pruett was born on November 9, 1939 to the union of Mary Lou Davis Collins and William Ray Collins and passed from this life on September 26, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Charles Earl Pruett; children, Chuck Pruett and wife Melba, Natalie Perkins and husband Paul, and Dennis Pruett and wife Laura; grandchildren, David Pruett, Darlene Pruett, Danny and Olivia Pruett, Nicole Perkins, Justin Perkins, Cassandra Pruett, and Collin Pruett; great grandchildren, Kirby Smith, Luke Pruett, Judah Perkins, Anna Perkins, and David Perkins; and sister, Naomi Lang. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
