Obituary for Betty Jo Herzog
Memorial service for Mrs. Betty Jo Herzog will be Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at Christ Episcopal Church in Bastrop, LA.
Mrs. Betty Jo Herzog was born November 4, 1937, in Bastrop, LA and passed from this life on January 17, 2023, in Alexandria, LA at the age of 85. Mrs. Herzog was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bastrop, LA. She was an avid member of Tams 11. Mrs. Herzog was best known for owning and running her store, Quality T.V. Service and Hobby Korner. One of Mrs. Herzog’s biggest and most enjoyable hobbies was crocheting. Betty was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and was a friend to many. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Rosa Stephenson, her brother, Layton Stephenson and one grandson, Charles G. Herzog.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles E. " Tex" Herzog. , her children, Mark Herzog and wife, Shirley, Sylvia Moak and husband Michael Sr., her brother, Floyd M. Stephenson and wife, Joyce Stephenson. Three grandchildren, Nicholas Herzog, Anna White, and Amber White; three great-grandchildren, also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
