Obituary for Betty Jo Rector
Betty Jo Rector "Gee" 75, of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on Friday, October 30, 2020.
She was born in North Carolina on February 18, 1945, to Arlie and Grace (Darnell) Blevins; however, she spent most of her lifetime in Delaware. She graduated from Alexis I Dupont High School and later became a retired employee of Gravely Hockessin. Betty enjoyed Gospel music and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah (Robert) Neil, her sister Jane (Wayne) Lewis, her brother Lloyd Blevins, three grandchildren Tylor Neil, Myriah (William) Pierce, Tamara (James) Gardner, and 9 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Wilburn "Dale" Rector in 2015, her grandson Troy, and her 7 siblings.
Services will be private. Betty will be greatly missed by family and friends, but her spirit will live on in their hearts forever.
