Funeral services for Mrs. Bettie Diane Walters of Eros, LA will be 1:00pm Tuesday, July 30, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe with Pastor Ben Petrella and Pastor Jimmy Masters officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Eros under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00am until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Walters was born June 28, 1950 in Eros, LA and passed from this life on July 27, 2019 at her home in Eros, LA at the age of 69. She loved sewing, arts and crafts and keeping her home to perfection.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Sadie Mae Estes.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Lynn Walters of Eros, LA; children, Stephanie Lines of West Monroe, LA, James Garrison Jr. of Farmerville, LA and Angie Cowart of Eudora, AR; parents, Charles and Loretha Estes of Eros, LA; one brother, Charles “Buddy” Estes of Eros, LA; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
