Graveside services for Ms. Betsy Reeves of West Monroe, LA will be 12:00pm Monday, May 20, 2019 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Calhoun, LA. Interment will directly follow at the cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00pm until 4:00pm Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe.
Ms. Reeves was born December 14, 1934 in Wheeler, TX and passed from this life on May 17, 2019 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 84. She was a creative person who loved pretty things, flowers, dolls and beautiful décor for her home. She enjoyed watching old movies, eating out with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with her family. She loved her “fur-baby” cat, Zoe. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilbur and Pearl Gibbins; and her son-in-law, Lanny A. Franks.
Survivors include her children, Diane Tidwell and husband, Eddie of West Monroe, Jeff Mayo and wife, Debi of Farmerville, and Pamela Franks of West Monroe; one sister, Tomie Gregory of Jena; seven grandchildren, Brad Tidwell and wife, LaShay, Justin Tidwell and wife, Melissa, Kyle Mayo, Casey Cox and wife, Emily, Caleb Franks and wife, Lisa, and Colby Mayo, and Jana Franks; nine great-grandchildren, Kinley, Bentlee, Channing, Asher, Lakelyn, Isaac, Thompson, Chandler and Cassie; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
