Obituary for Becky Ann Ketchell

Funeral service celebrating the life of Becky Ann Ketchell of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, December 18, 2020 at North Monroe Baptist Church with Warren Eckhart and Scott Dickson officiating.
Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
Family will receive friends for visitation, 12pm until time of service at the church.

Becky was born Sept 20, 1960 in Alexandria, LA to the union of Ira and Earline Martin, she was called to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Becky was a resident of Swartz community, Monroe, LA. for over 35 years, she was a previous member of First Baptist Church of West Monroe, where she was Baptized by Dr. David Uth. Current member of North Monroe Baptist Church.

Becky was a caregiver and organizer – constantly looking for ways to help, assist or lend support to others. She was an active member of Swartz Elementary PTO, leading the most successful fundraiser of its time. She enjoyed Bible Study groups while at 1ST West and most recently enjoyed her friendships with her “Flea Market Friends”.

She and Mark liked “long weekend” trips together, enjoying each other’s company while visiting destinations such as north Arkansas, Memphis, Gatlinburg and the Smokey Mountains.
She is preceded in death by her Father, Ira Wayne Martin.

Those left to cherish her memory include her Husband of 41 years, Mark Ketchell of Monroe, LA, Mother, Earline Evans Martin of West Monroe, LA, One Daughter, Jennifer “Jenni” Bulloch and husband Seth of Monroe, LA, Two Grandsons, Colton Alan Bulloch and Caden Douglas Bulloch, One Brother, Danny Wayne Martin and wife Joanie of Goodwill, LA, Two Brothers-in Law, Steve Ketchell and wife Linda of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Jerry Ketchell and wife Brigitte (Bre-ge’-tah) of Heflin, LA; also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers serving include Lyn Walker, Robert Linder, Steve Ketchell, Jerry Ketchell, John Carr, and Bobby Baker.
