Funeral services for Mrs. Ann Nicole Powell of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe with Bro. Scott Jennings officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Friday, April 5, 2019 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Powell was born October 13, 1986 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on April 3, 2019 in Monroe, LA at the age of 32. She was considered a “selfie queen” by her friends and family who loved her. She enjoyed rap and country music, her T-shirt and blue jeans and going to church. She was person who loved to help others and she will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her brother, James Spanky Powell; her grandmothers, Hazel Marie Powell and Mary Jo Worthington.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Merideth, Jr.; her children, Josie Merideth, Chase Merideth, and Lilliy Merideth; her mother, Cheryl McGee and husband, Danny; her father Ronnie Powell and wife, Louise; her siblings, Thomas Worthington, Casey Walsworth and husband, Jonathan “Wally”, Taylor Powell and Nikki Copeland and husband, Dustin; special aunt, Stacey Lynn Smith; special uncle, Add Worthington; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in Ann’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospital.
