Funeral service for Mrs. Alice Carroll, 76, of Spearsville, will be on Monday, January 13, 2020 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Griffin Funeral Home-West Monroe, with Rev. Terry Burke officiating. Internment will follow in Laran Cemetery, under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carroll was born on October 5, 1943 and passed from this life on January 8, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers; and husband, Kenneth David Carroll. She was a member of Strong Assembly of God, a Sunday school teacher and preacher, and the most amazing mother in the world.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her children, Christina Marie Lerew and husband Bryan, Kenneth Wayne Carroll and wife Deb, and Lonnie Carroll and wife Regina; stepdaughter, June Carroll; brother, Earl Whitney; 8 grandchildren, Jeffory Eugene Yawn, Ann Marie Pardue, Kenneth Yawn, Ginger McKoin, Lance Carroll, Brian Carroll, Robert Carroll, and Logan Carroll; and 34 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Pallbearers to honor the memory of Mrs. Carroll will be Jeffory Eugene Yawn, Kenneth Yawn, Lance Carroll, Brian Carroll, Robert Carroll, Logan Carroll and, Stephen Pardue.

Honorary Pallbearer is Everett Terry.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday, January 13, 2020 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations are to be made to Professional Hospice Care.
