Graveside services for Mr. James Edward Cummings of West Monroe, LA will be 2:00pm Friday, September 28, 2018 at Walnut Grove Cemetery in West Monroe with Rev. David Womack officiating under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home 911 Warren Dr. West Monroe.
Mr. Cummings was born February 18, 1940 in Darnell, LA and passed from this life on September 23, 2018 in Monroe, LA at the age of 78.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Flora Jean Cummings; parents, Joyce and Vergie Cummings; and two brothers, Joyce Cummings and Clinton Cummings.
Survivors include his son, Danny Cummings and wife, Lynette of West Monroe; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Glynn White, Buddy Frost, Clayton Barmore, Gene Jett, Wayne Waggoner and James Gissendiner.
