Graveside services for Mr. Gary Ray Traylor of Eros, LA will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the old Frantom Chapel Church and Cemetery on Frantom Chapel Road in Eros, LA with Matt Owens officiating.
Mr. Traylor was born April 1, 1961 in Monroe, LA and passed from this life on September 13, 2018 in West Monroe, LA at the age of 57.
Gary was very much involved in church and bible studies at Ouachita Baptist Church in West Monroe. He loved playing with his sons, watching movies, working on puzzles, reading and working in his garden. He loved to tell jokes and had a great sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Jean Crowell, his father, Henry Ray Traylor, his maternal grandparents Garland and Ava Crowell and his paternal grandparents Guy and Rachel Traylor along with several aunts and uncle.
Survivors include two sons, Jim Traylor of Calhoun, GA, Ben Traylor of Calhoun, GA; one sister, Sandra Loving and her husband James Michael Loving of Eros and three aunts Wanda Kaye Traylor, Slidell, LA, Mary Traylor, Monroe, LA, and Freedia Crowell, West Monroe, LA. He is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the entire staffs at Louisiana Hospice and Ridgecrest Nursing Home. Each of you made his last days comfortable with compassion and love.
