Betty Ann Netherland, Allbritton. A lady, a survivor, tough but gentle, hardworking, a fighter, never a quitter, of great faith, with great love for her children, grandchildren, God, that allowed her to live outside of the box and herself touching hearts of family, friends, strangers, and every stray animal in need of love, warmth, comfort. That's who she was! Never saw herself as great but she couldn't see through others eyes who loved her beautiful blue eyes, laughter, strength, cooking, off days, even sarcasm, and all those animals! Horses, cows, dogs, birds, any and all! Perhaps they reflected her heart best with the same trust, acceptance, compassion, understanding, charity, and love. Always without judgement, condemning, or criticizing what she saw as victims of life! Eager to hold, touch, love in spite of everything. She grew daily and became God's perfect choice for us as we looked up and admired with love the woman we call mom, grandmother, Aunt Betty, friend says farewell with "I don't want to leave you but I'm tired! Remember to Love and Be kind! You've all been good to me and I love you." She was and always will be our Big Momma, loved and forever in our hearts!!
