Funeral services will be held at 10am Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Griffin Funeral Home, 911 Warren Drive West Monroe. Pastor Michael Holmes and Bro. Ron Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Transport Cemetery in Jonesboro, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm Monday, August 6, 2018 at the funeral home.
Clint Andrew Caraway, age 53, of Eros, Louisiana, died Thursday, August 2, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained from a bicycling accident. Clint was an industrial machinist in excess of 30 years and was currently employed with Motion Industries. He was a 1983 graduate of West Monroe High School then he continued his education attending trade school to become a machinist and welder. He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including fishing, metal detecting, and his most recent hobby of cycling. Clint was a brilliant individual who was passionate at self-education and constantly enriched his mind through reading and researching the things he found interest in.
Clint is survived by his parents, Artis and Marie Caraway, and sister, Carmen Caraway, all of West Monroe, Louisiana. He is also survived by a host of additional family members, including, Patches of Eros, Louisiana; Ester Caraway of Chatham, Louisiana; Charles Caraway of Colorado; Norma Lowe and husband, Ron of Eros, Louisiana; Darrell Caraway and wife Pam of West Monroe, Louisiana; Holly Caraway of Monroe, Louisiana; Brent Caraway and wife, Kara of Colorado; Kenny Lovelady and wife, Melody of Eros, Louisiana; Terry Hamilton and wife Shelley of West Monroe, Louisiana; Amanda Fields and husband, Russell of West Monroe, Louisiana; Jennifer Lewis and husband, Rodney of West Monroe, Louisiana; Darrell Caraway, Jr., and wife Shannon of Colorado; and numerous other cousins.
Pallbearers will be Mike Sharp, Mike Wheelis, Wendell Wiggins, Chris Sharp and Tristen Lovelady.
Interment will follow at Transport Cemetery in Jonesboro, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
