Funeral services for Mr. Riley โR.H.โ Howard Bowlin of Monroe, LA will be 12:00pm Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Apostolics of Monroe with Rev. Simeon Strickland and Rev. Ralph Ensley officiating. Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park in Monroe, LA under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home Monroe. Visitation will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the church.
Mr. Bowlin was born December 8, 1952 in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life on July 31, 2018 in Monroe, LA at the age of 65. He was a member of the Apostolics of Monroe and enjoyed hunting, fishing, mowing his yard, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with all of his family. He loved his wife, his daughter and his grandchildren, โhis best budsโ, as well as his dog โMuffinโ.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Dorothy Bowlin; his sister, Diane Worsham; and three brothers, Johnny Bowlin, David Bowlin and Ray Bowlin.
Survivors include his wife, Beckie Bowlin of Monroe; his daughter, Denise Kindrix of Monroe; two grandchildren, Ron Kindrix, Jr. and fiancรฉ, Johnna Abott and Spencer Kindrix and fiancรฉ, Haley Walters all of Monroe; one great-grandson, Taten Kindrix; his siblings, Janice Bowlin, Helen Scroggin and Homer Bowlin, Jr.; mother-in-law, Molly Williamson; special niece, Christy Demoss; also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Don Winters, Wayne Winters, Jerry Winters, Ron Kindrix, Jr., Spencer Kindrix and Johnny Demoss. Honorary pallbearer will be Ron Kindrix, Sr.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to S.O.S. Pets of Ouachita.
