Mr. Abston was born August 9, 1939 in Grenada, Mississippi and passed from this life on October 8, 2018 at his residence in Monroe, LA at the age of 79.
Private memorial services for Mr. Horace Mack Abston of Monroe, LA will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home West Monroe.
He is preceded in death by his son, William Abston; his mother, Virginia Abston; his father, Mack Abston.
Survivors include his lifetime companion Ginger Bowling; his sons Gary and Scott Abston of Florida; is daughter, Jennifer Salls of Nevada; his brother, Donald Abston of Baton Rouge; his sister, Elizabeth Martin of Arkansas; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
